This website has been running quite a while now and the club has the facility to issue a newsletter but only one has been published in november 2020.
Both these services, particularly the newsletter is entirely dependant on input. It is understood that the majority of members just post a few pictures on the facebook page but the newsletter and the website are in real need of content imput. if your building something interesting, had a good day at the lake or another club or just want to share some knowledge please write and article and send it to the club secretary contactable through this website. It s your website and is the main method that non members and other clubs find us so please help us improve it.

Hello and welcome to the online home of the CHANTRY MODEL BOAT CLUB. We are a large, friendly and very active club based on a lake at the Bluewater shopping centre in north Kent. With excellent parking, great access from the A2 and the nearby M25 and plenty for the other members of the family to do being inside one of the biggest and best shopping centres in the country. We operate on Wednesdays, Saturdays and Sundays with members often sailing from 9am. We have a clubhouse at the lakeside with tea and biscuits plus our own toilet facilities and a large storage unit which contains many of the large boats the club owns. We permanently have one or two large vessels moored on the lake for interest while sailing and are in the process of building harbours around our launching areas. New members always welcome and a if you just want to try us out a day membership scheme is in place to allow you to sail while covered by our insurance and licencing.
